I recently read RIFT and I loved it. I thought the nightshade series was a bit dull but the prequel was amazing. It related to the rest of the series very well in the end, although it was hard to see the connection at first between the worlds of Calla and Em. I loved the excitement most of the time.. I preferred Ren to shay and was sad the gardians had to become full time wolves.

The golden lily was a compelling sequel to the Bloodlines series. I loved it so much I read it in almost one sitting. Sydney is a unique character, who is impossible to ignore. She is unbelievably responsible, smart and gives you an interesting perspective of her story.

This book grabbed my attention right away. Lexi was put into an interesting situation that tested her trust in herself and others. I loved this book, however I can see how it may not connect with adults and young children. It is definitely a book aimed at teenage girls but, it is a very strange situation that was brilliantly different from the other books on your shelf.
